2024 Youth Planning Team
Synod Youth Workshop is planned and carried out by our Youth Planning Team. They select the scripture for the conference, work with the keynoter on themes, plan out energizers, plan our worship music, come up with skits for fun moments, oversee the variety show, and are ultimately the true leaders of the conference!

Brayden Rigoulot
Hey y'all!! My name is Brayden Rigoulot and I will be entering my senior year! I am from First Presbyterian Church of Longview. I am a huge fan of all things music. My favorite artists are Noah Kahan and Josiah Queen! I am also a student athletic trainer at my school and got to be on the field when my school's football team won state! I cannot wait for SYW!! I am so excited to meet and bond with my small group. I am so pumped to lead music with my best friends!! See y'all soon!!
Sweetie Ansah
Hi everyone, I’m Sweetie Ansah! I go to the Woodhaven Ghanaian Community Presbyterian Church, and I’m about to start my senior year (which I’m really excited about)! One fun fact about me is that I love to sing, and I am apart of not one, not two, but three choirs at my school! When I’m not singing, I love to hang out with my family, which consists of my parents, my older brother, and my 9 year old cat Autumn. This year at Synod, I’m most looking forward to leading worship with the Music Team and making new memories with my small group. I can’t wait to meet all of y’all this summer!

Hello, my name is Gabriel Gomez, I'll be a upcoming senior. I live in San Angelo, TX, where I go to St Paul's Presbyterian Church. One fact about me is that I'm part of a 2 time 1st division sweepstakes Mariachi group and part of NHS at my school. I can't wait to perform with the music team and able to meet my small group and old friends. I can't wait to see y'all this summer in Tulsa.
Carlisle Land
Hey guys! My name is Carlisle Land, I am a member of First Presbyterian Church in Longview Texas, and I'm going into my senior year!! Some fun facts about me are that I have a twin brother (we look nothing alike), I love running and ran a half marathon with my mom last December, and I'm attempting to make it through the IB (International Baccalaureate) academic program at my school - emphasis on attempting. For SYW this summer I'm so so excited to spend a week making life-long friends and memories in my small group, as well as seeing God's presence in new ways on the Planning and Music Team!!

Hi everyone! I'm Abby Karlinski, and I'm from St. Barnabas in Richardson. I'm so excited to be on rec team for SYNOD this summer! I'm a graduating senior and I plan on attending UT starting this fall. I love spending time with friends and family, being outside, art, cats, playing the New York Times games, and music (especially rock 🤘🤘🤘). I'm looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones this summer!
John Miles
Hey guys, I’m John and I'm on the rec team! I’m from First Presbyterian in Fort Davis. I’ll be a senior this year and I participate in just about everything, including Football, Basketball, Track & Field, Cross Country, One Act Play, and Speech & Debate. Fun fact: everyone I meet asks me how tall I am. The answer is at least 5 feet. I’m most excited about town night and meeting my small group. Can’t wait to see ya’ll in Tulsa!

Hey y’all, I’m Mason Hix and I’m on the REC Team side of Planning team this year! I’m with Holy Trinity Presbyterian Church in San Antonio, Texas. I do football, track, weightlifting, academic UIL current events and issues, Social Studies, science , and Stock Show! Fun fact about me is I squat 465! I’m most excited about Town night, small group time, service projects, and memories! I’m so excited to serve y’all this year at SYNOD!!!
